My memorable journey...
...was my trip to Prague! So I´ll give you a short overview about this awful holiday... The journey was a birthday present for my mother. My sister and I didn’t have much money, both of us were students but in spite of that, we wanted to surprise our mother with a great and unforgetable trip to Prague. The cheapest way to travel to the „goldy town“ was -of course- by Rainbowtours...I needn´t say more, right?! But this time we were young and stupid and thought, it would be fantastic! But step by step...
It all begun with a funny bus tour. There were about 20 passengers, sitting in an old-fashioned bus with an out of order toilet. In addition to that, we had only one bus driver and by the end of the day we had to stop every two hours for the smokers, for the bus-driver break, or going for little lions...what should I say, after 20!! hours we arrived in Prague. There we found our hotel, a better description is maybe a big grey block in the middle of nowhere! However, we were lucky to get out of this „comfortable“ bus. Despite of these impressions we were exited to have a look at the fantastic city with all the famous bridges and the castle up on the hill. But it won´t be an awful trip, when everything begins to run smoothly...of course, through all over our stay, it rained cats and dogs and the only thing you saw were umbrellas. It was a very difficult job to dodge the tops of the thousand umbrellas. After the weekend we were overjoyed to get into the bus and to drive home. From this time on, I hate Prague and certainly, nobody can ever convince me otherwise! |
