Black Forest - Sightseeing and Shopping Tip
I visited some relatives in the Black Forest and had a great time discovering the vicinity of Villingen/Schwenningen. The Black Forest is well known for its vast forests, open mountain heights and peaks with great vistas and for the numerous lakes and charming valleys. It offers hikers a lot of varieties to experience nature. But hiking is not everybody’s favorite sport and if you prefer the sightseeing and shopping locations as much as I do, here are my recommendations:
 The Castle Hohenzollern is really worth a visit. It is quiete beautiful, well-preserved and very large indeed. A guided tour provides an insight into the interiors including the royal treasury. For more information just visit the offical Website of Castle Hohenzollern.
The best shopping location is Metzingen. There you'll find a lot of very nice outlet stores. If you know how American outlet malls are built, you´ll immediately feel at home. Brands like Hugo Boss, Esprit, Nike, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger and a lot more offer a wide range of their products at reasonable prices. Are you looking for a wellness trip? Than visit the website of "Schöne Aussicht", this 4-star hotel is located at an altitude of 971 m and provides a beautiful view as its name indicates. We celebrated a birthday at this restaurant and the meal was delicious. They have nice "last minute" offers for wellness trips where you can save a lot of money.
