In Hanover the most popular meeting points are the “Kröpcke clock” or “below the tail” of Ernst August’s horse in front of the central station but where do they all go afterwards? Where are the best locations to chill out, enjoy a beer or coffee, chat with friends, dance, shop etc.? Tell us your favorite spots in Hanover and fill out this PDF-Form for your recommendation.

Places to Practice your English
During our last (and my first) communication class, we decided to give you some useful information about where you can practice your English.
Three of us went to The Dublin Inn. It is located near the Market Church (Am Markte 13) and takes about five minutes to get there on foot.
The Dublin Inn is a typical Irish Pub, meagrely light, typically furnished. You can also take a seat outside, where there is a nice view of the square in front of the Market Church.
As it was sunny and warm, we decided to stay outside. We could hit two birds with one stone as we had the chance to watch people passing by while we were practicing our English.
When you want to order something, that is moment your English training starts. The waitress welcomes you in English!

Just ask for a black velvet (Guinness with sparkling wine), although you won’t find it on the list of beverages, then go on speaking English.
We were chatting for two hours and we had a lot of fun!
You don’t have to travel to Ireland, just take a seat at The Dublin Inn! (by Iris K.)
